Ward and Allison Dental Clinic.
Daily life for everyone around the world has changed dramatically in a short space of time. As things begin to normalise it is important that we reflect and try to adapt to ensure that we take control and change the things we know will keep us safe. Thins like washing your hands regularly and thoroughly and avoiding unnecessary travel or contact with others.
Your oral health continues to be important and although we should be more cautious going forward, we should not let recent events cause us to neglect this.
At Ward & Allison Dental Surgery the most important thing is patient safety and comfort, and that is why we have introduced the following measures to keep people safe while at the practice.
We will be booking your appointments to ensure that the practice and waiting areas are not overcrowded. We will do this by leaving suitable gaps between appointments, making sure that you can attend the practice while maintaining a suitable distance from one another in accordance with government guidelines.
We will also be creating clinics for patients who are most vulnerable, to help minimise contact with others for this group whilst they are at the practice.
To further avoid overcrowding when you arrive at the practice, we advise you to wait in the safe waiting area 1 or 2 depending on the day.
You will be required to fill in all relevant forms on your mobile phone, before you enter the practice. This means that you will not have to touch a pen, paper or any electronic device other than your own when you attend an appointment. This crucial step greatly reduces touch points at the practice.
If you do not have a mobile phone, reception will be able to assist you in a safe manner.
Between all appointments, the dental team will thoroughly disinfect the dental surgery, reducing the risk of patient exposure to anything harmful while they are in the chair.
And finally, as you leave the practice, we will ask that you pay by card, preferably contactless. If you have any further questions about these measures or anything else prior to your appointment, please contact us.
Family Dentist and Facial Aesthetics Practice in Ilkeston
The original Ward and Allison Dental Surgery was established over four decades ago and during that time has treated thousands of people, and been the first choice for residents of both Ilkeston and Nottingham.. Situated on Market Street in the historic town of Ilkeston, just off the main square, our patients benefit from easy access and convenient on-site parking, helping to keep your visit as stress-free as possible.
The practice was taken over by Dr Vanya Ruseva in 2018 and remains an integral part of the Ilkeston community, alongside the many great local businesses and social hubs that combine to make a bustling town with a friendly village feel.
Ever looking forwards, the interior of the practice has recently been fully updated to ensure we can offer the best service in the most pleasant and serene surroundings.
The staff here at Ward and Allison are extremely proud of our practice and the high standards that we set ourselves in all areas of dentistry.
However, we are more than just a dental clinic! In addition to our mission to bring perfect smiles to as many people as we are able, we have gained a tremendous reputation throughout the whole of Derbyshire and beyond for our comprehensive range of facial aesthetics treatments. You can learn more about these here.
We offer flexible day and night professional teeth whitening services and are more than happy to advise on questions such as which whitening gel to use (and when) or for general help and information relating to our teeth whitening and other treatments. Remember: we provide free consultations!
We know that private patients have numerous options for their dental care and we greatly appreciate your choosing Ward and Allison. For putting your trust in us, we are committed to giving you the best care and helping you achieve tremendous results, whatever the treatment.
