Profhilo is an injectable skin remodelling treatment containing one of the highest concentrations of Hyaluronic Acid. This is to help customers whose skin lacks volume and elasticity. Rather than removing and filling wrinkles, the slow release of HA stimulates the production of collagen and elastin, which in turn, improves skin tone, the appearance of fine lines and can keep the skin looking and feeling hydrated and rejuvenated for up to 6 months. If you suffer from tired, dull-looking skin and are looking to transform it into firm and luminous skin with minimal effort, Profhilo might be the treatment for you. This treatment is not Botox or filler, this is a hydration treatment.

How does Profhilo work?
Being made from HA, means that the treatment is hydrophilic. This meaning that, it draws and holds water from your body to give you healthier skin as well as complexion. The effects of this treatment are shown within 3-5 days after treatment and can last up to 6 months. After the injection, over the next few weeks, collagen and elastin production is stimulated. Which produces a secondary effect of skin tightening. This is ideal because after the age of 30, collagen, elastin and Hyaluronic Acid in the skin rapidly drop, resulting in wrinkles and fine lines surfacing on the skin.
What are the benefits?
Treatment with Profhilo drastically improves complexion. This is done by improving skin tone, texture, hydration levels and overall radiance. It can help to increase firmness and elasticity and promotes healthier and softer-looking skin. Profhilo is most commonly used in facial areas, but can also be used to rejuvenate the neck, decollate, arms, knees and also the hands.
What does Profhilo involve?
This treatment is injected just below the skin’s outer surface over 2 sessions, usually 4 weeks apart. After injection, it disperses immediately beneath the skin the improve hydration. This is done without any need for massage or risk of leaving bumps or modules on the skin. Profhilo is absorbed within a 2cm radius of its injection site, so only 10 injection points are required in total for radiant skin. This process can be repeated every 6 months to maintain the appearance and to maximise its effects. The downtime following a treatment is minimal. Following the procedure, you will be able to go back to your daily activities straight after treatment. Whereas heavy lifting and straining is not advised.
How much does this treatment cost?
At Ward and Allison, we appreciate that everyone is different, and some individuals do not always have the necessary funds to make an individual payment, so our patients have the option of paying upfront or with a third-party finance option to spread the cost from treatments.
The cost for Profhilo is £400 for a full course of 2 applications.
